About Nederland Internet.com
Nederland Internet.com was created by Roberta Dulay as a resource for folks in the Nederland area. While the web site started out primarily as a resource to learn about Internet access and a place to go to ask your Internet and computer-related questions, the site was reborn in 2004 as grown into more of a community-based web site, now offering discussion forums and local interest content, including information on the upcoming town elections.
No Bull - Just the Facts, Ma'am.
Since other organizations and web sites in town are specifically pushing their own agendas in this election, we feel the most important thing for the town is to facilitate the free exchange of ideas and information, without hindrance or censorship by any special interest groups. Therefore, we do not publicly endorse any of the candidates for election, nor do we play favorites by choosing who may and who may not post a profile here. The candidates have all created their profiles utilizing the proprietary software developed for FixNed.org and the data they approved for publication has been reprinted with permission here on NederlandInternet.com. Since the candidates put their own information in directly, this gives you, the voters, the most accurate information available from which to make your decisions on April 6th. As stated in our charter, we fully encourage open communications, and we hope that all of the candidates as well as the voters of the town will utilize this web site to its fullest extent.
Thank You for Your Support
We appreciate all of the support of the community for this web site and our efforts to keep communications open for all of the candidates in this election. Since this site was built as a free service, the advertising revenue from this web site helps to pay for our servers and bandwidth. We also accept donations to help keep this service available to the town. You can donate using the PayPal Link at the bottom of this page.
